Cherry Gilchrist is the author of over twenty books on mythology, alchemy, art and social history, including Elements of Alchemy, Stories from the Silk Road, and Russian Lacquer Miniatures. She lectures widely and runs workshops on inner traditions such as meditation and women's spirituality. She lives in Stroud, England, and she has visited Russia over fifty times.
